The Best Software to use as a Wedding Photographer, serve your clients well, and get your time back.

Pic-Time - I came over to Pic-Time from Pixie Set. Their sale automation is really what sold me on the switch. It gives clients the option of designing their own albums and printing their favorites without any back and forth between me and them. My product sales have gone from 0-100 since switching over.

Honeybook - I am not sold on this specific CRM, in fact, I kind of wish I would have gone with Dubsabo but a CRM is life-changing. My favorite thing about Honeybook is the app so I can easily respond to inquiries and emails no matter where I am. The scheduler (having a link so your clients can schedule their own zoom calls is life-changing!) makes their life so much easier than any emails back and forth, and obviously, their customizable workflows and automation help keep me organized.

Photo Mechanic - Full disclosure; I did buy After Shoot during Black Friday but am not sold on it. Photo Mechanic is a no-brainer, with no monthly fee, unlimited use for the rest of your life, and the absolute quickest way to cull ever invented if you need full control. (I’m a control freak).

Archipelago Collective- is one of my favorite preset companies. While I use my own presets I love trying out new ones and my own RGB panel is very similar to these! Presets of course cut down on your time editing. I am part of their Quest platform, with monthly presets and updates and tools and I think its one of the best deals on quality presets out there.

Aftershoot- I am brand new to the program. I’m trying out the AI culling and AI editing. I am not sold on either but obviously, it has a real potential to allow us as photographers to get more time back and be able to do more creative aspects of editing besides just color correction.

Preview- I use preview for Instagram planning, I’m really bad at social media so tell me if you have one that works better!

Lightroom - I have always used Lightroom for editing ! With the new updates, i’m really only using photoshop a few times a year ( when I have a really crazy / creative idea and i’m trying to make the scenery look different than it really does).

Canva- My assistant and I use Canva for all our Pinterest graphics, or to advertise a gallery sale on social media ( think Black Friday) or to update PDF’s I send to clients. It’s easy, it’s free and it looks beautiful.
