Post Ranch Elopement Photography
Lucy and Dustin eloped at the beautiful Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, California. Lucy gifted Dustin a new Omega watch during their stay. They helped each other get ready in the most beautiful light. I’ve noticed more and more couples getting ready together and forgoing a first look lately, and I’m here for it. We used the beautiful rooms for them to get ready and then quickly adventured along Hwy 1. First was their ceremony in the redwoods, followed by capturing the incredibly rough waves at my favorite coastal overlook. Concluding with a first dance on the beach, with their feet in the sand and playing their favorite game together, checkers! Their 4-hour elopement combined all my favorite spots and their favorite things. It was so much fun showing them a coast they hadn't discovered during their last visit. I absolutely LOVED Lucy’s dress, it had a built-in cape that captured the wind so beautifully on the breezy coast and added interest in the stillness of the redwoods.
