Wyoming Wedding

The most anticipated and exciting part for me as a photographer was the sunrise running of the horses. Although it was freezing and Vanessa and Jim were tired I’m SOO happy they toughed it out because I’m ready to blow those images up on my own walls .

California Redwood Elopement
K + J eloped this week in the beautiful redwoods of California. They stayed at the beautiful Glen Oaks Big Sur and brought their amazing friend Micheal to perform a heartfelt ceremony in the redwoods. My favorite part of their day was how they got ready together in such a sweet way and set aside 10 min for creative photos in the light of their cabin. I loved the small cake that their friend made them with the cutest cake topper! ( a Polaroid of them!)
Deetjens Big Sur Photographer
Deetjens Big Sur is one of my favorite hotels for clients to stay at during their California elopement. It is one of the oldest hotels in Big Sur, with its charm and unique vibes. S + M got ready at the beautiful antique cabin in the woods and their ceremony under the redwoods, followed by a first dance and picnic at the beach. What a beautiful day!
Garrapata Beach Elopement
Claudia and Avery Eloped this week in Carmel, California, with both their best friends, all the love in the world for each other, and nothing but laughter. We adventured to the cliffs where their friends led them through heartfelt vows; they celebrated with a champagne spray and shots. We explored Garrapata Beach for couples portraits and their first dance on the beach. They had the most beautiful, heartfelt day, and I felt so lucky to be a part of it.
Samuel H. Boardman State Park Elopement
Nicole and Samuel eloping on the picturesque Oregon Coast was magical. The day began with their emotional first look and concluded with a heartwarming ceremony at Secret Beach. With the luxury of a whole four hours, they were able to soak in every moment of their special day. The couple's easygoing demeanor and deep connection created an atmosphere of unforgettable moments and intimate photography.
Natasha Hall and Leo Howard are married!
Natasha Hall and Leo Howard were married in Big Sur this week. They had a private vow exchange by the river under the redwood trees in the forest of Big Sur, followed by an adventure on the coast, which we drove up the Ridgeline I saw the moon peek out above the Bixby with the golden field in the foreground. Then we greeted all their family and friends at the Airbnb. It was such an honor to document their love.
Deetjens Big Sur Elopement Photography
L & P eloped this week at Deetjens Big Sur for their California elopement; they are high school sweethearts who have been together for years and wanted to explore Big Sur for the first time together on their road trip from Washington. I suggested Deetjens for its proximity to beautiful redwoods with overall charm. We started their wedding day with a quick cuddle in the cabin before having a first look in the redwoods; then, it was off to the cliffs and beach for a champagne toast at sunset.
Pfeiffer Beach Elopement
J and J eloped this week at Pfeiffer Beach Big Sur. Coming all the way from Kansas City to Carmel for the first time, I was so excited to show them the coast. They stayed at a guest cottage in a house in Carmel and followed me to the cliffs and Pfeiffer beach. Most of their wedding day was full of laughter. I absolutely loved their ceremony on the cliffs as the fog rolled in

Kirby Cove SF Elopement
K + J eloped at the Beautiful Kirby Cove in San Francisco this weekend. With their closest family and friends willing to pack up a picnic and hike to the beach below the golden it was one of the most positive wedding parties i’ve ever experienced. The day of their wedding was incredibly windy, I waited for them at the parking lot to Battery Spencer and my car shook! But with the cove’s protection the wind was almost non-existent once we got down to the bridge! The hike was about 30 min down and back but on a saturday there was almost no-one at the beach which is un-heard of for a saturday in the summer in San Francisco. Future brides; I recommend booking a camping site at the cove so you can drive down!! Without a camp reservation you have to hike and with all the picnic essentials it would have been nice to have their car. K + J’s family was so supportive of them and the way they envisioned their wedding day, everyone focused on their love and the beauty of them starting their life together in the city they first fell in love. I felt so honored to be a part of it!
Sutro Bath’s SF Elopement
San Francisco Elopement with M & S I met with them at the beautiful Beacon Grand Historic Hotel to capture their get-ready details and first look. We Uber'd to City Hall for the ceremony, and headed to Lands End for portraits, then onto Sutro Baths for some amazing photos. This was an adventurous day! M & S are off on a beautiful European honeymoon, I can't wait to hear the details!
Santa Cruz Wedding
K & E eloped in the redwoods at the Sequoia Retreat Center in Santa Cruz California. There is a private redwood grove, with close access to the wildflowers and bluffs off the coast. K & E said their vows under the redwoods and had a first look outside of their suite. They had the sweetest cake from Gayle’s Bakery which they enjoyed on the bluffs, And they finished their beautiful elopement day with a first dance as the sun tucked below the horizon.
Garrapata Beach Elopement
Camila and Greg Eloped this week at Garrapata Beach. When Hwy 1 had a rock slide a week ago we had to quickly pivot away from their original plan of getting married in the redwoods. They found an incredible Airbnb at Ribera Beach where they had their first look and ceremony. From there we adventured down the coast with an impromptu cheesecake on the hood of their rented vintage Thunderbird. They were both so full of joy and love it was infectious.
Santa Cruz Elopement at the Sequoia Retreat
Rachel and Jonnie had the most beautiful elopement day at the Sequoia Retreat in Santa Cruz California. They originally planned their day in Big Sur but two days before their planned elopement the road slide happened and we had to re-plan to make their redwood dreams a reality. With the help of the Sequoia Retreat Center letting us use their beautiful property and the adventure to the coast in a rented vintage Mustang from Monterey Touring Vehicles and the most amazing picnic by the incredible Michelle with Forage Vintage rentals, their day came together beautifully.
Pebble Beach Elopement
M & J eloped in an intimate ceremony in Pebble Beach, California on a rainy afternoon last week. The private beach where the ceremony was held was one she had been tide-pooling since she was a child so it was extra special. After the ceremony they popped champagne and danced in the rain, as they finished their first dance the sun peeked out from behind the clouds and a rainbow appeared, It was beautiful!
