California Elopement //Marlena and Fred

Marlena and Fred decided to have an adventure elopement but wanted to include their closest family as a part of the day. They decided to enjoy their family during the getting-ready moments before heading off for an adventurous day along the Big Sur coast. We started at La Playa Hotel in Carmel California for their getting ready, and first look, then we headed out to the redwoods followed by the sea. Marlena arranged a picnic with their wedding cake to surprise Fred! The picnic was set up with the amazing Michelle from Forage Vintage Rentals. We ended the day with a private ceremony overlooking the cliffs of Big Sur followed by their first dance as the sun set behind the ocean. It was such a beautiful day filled with adventure, laughter, and love and I was so honored to be their photographer and guide for the day.
