Big Sur Elopement // Janice and Michael's Glen Oaks Elopement

Janice and Micheal eloped in Big Sur California this year. Amid Covid and huge plan changes ( they were originally planning on getting married in Hawaii!) It was so fun watching their reaction to Big Sur for the first time. This was actually Micheals's first time in California !!! (I’m not counting his trip to Disney). Originally from Texas, they actually found me first and THEN decided on Big Sur, which was such a compliment.

I met Janice and Micheal at their hotel room in Glen Oaks Big Sur. I love capturing an elopement from start to finish, including the getting ready time. It was so sweet to capture Micheal's reaction to Janice in her gown for the first time. From their vows in the forest, we headed down to a local beach for a picnic and cake with champagne. Janice and Micheal brought their hiking boots and we put them to use towards the end of their day for all the mountain cliff views. From incredible vendors to the sweetest clients, I had such an amazing day exploring the California Coast with new friends.
