Ventana Big Sur Elopement // Jessie and Matt
On a beautiful, sunny, fall day in Big Sur Jessie and Matt eloped. They got ready under the Big Sur redwoods and said their vows overlooking the California coastline. These two laughed and danced and couldn’t keep their hands off each other. I made a playlist of songs for their first dance, which introduced me to my new favorite band, the Michigan Rattlers!
We initially planned on exploring Julia Pfeiffer Beach after the forest but the parking lot was full ( this summer has been especially busy). We drove 30 minutes down the coast to the next nearest beach just in time for the sunset and it couldn’t have worked out more beautifully. They said their vows and ran along the beach jumping into our cold Pacific without a second thought.
Jessie and Matt met during law school at William and Mary, ( I know, they are some smokin hot lawyers!). They love dogs and have a lab at home, they couldn’t stop petting all the puppies they saw. They didn’t have a real chance to explore Big Sur before we met for their elopement and I absolutely loved showing them my home! I hope they come back and have a beer with me for their anniversary!! Congrats you two!
