Big Sur Elopement day on the stormy Coast of California. V & J had the perfect elopement day the stormy weather made for amazingly moody lighting which I love. To the vows in the redwood forest, picnic on the beach, and champagne popping on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean it was the perfect day!
Sand Rock Farm Elopement // Sarah and Dan
Sarah and Dan were married yesterday at Sand Rock Farm in Santa Cruz, California. From the awesome farmhouse with great lighting and antique furniture to the redwood grove and gardens, it was a beautiful ceremony and a wonderful venue to photograph. Congratulations to you both!

Corey and Adam were married in Big Sur, California after postponing three times due to Covid, the hotel shutdowns, and fires. We finally meet at Ventana Big Sur in October so they could have their dream elopement! They were married in the forest among the redwood trees and exchanged the sweetest vows! From hiking in Yosemite, kayaking in Bend Oregon, or exploring the cliffs of Big Sur, I always carry a few key essentials. Here is what I generally bring along to photograph hiking elopements, from having sunrise coffee in the back of my car to sunsets with champagne!
