Kirby Cove SF Elopement

K + J eloped at the beautiful Kirby Cove in San Francisco this weekend. With their closest family and friends willing to pack up a picnic and hike to the beach below the golden it was one of the most positive wedding parties I’ve ever experienced. The day of their wedding was incredibly windy, I waited for them at the parking lot of Battery Spencer and my car shook! But with the cove’s protection, the wind was almost non-existent once we got down to the bridge! The hike was about 30 minutes down and back but on a Saturday there was almost no one at the beach which is unheard of for a Saturday in the summer in San Francisco. Future brides; I recommend booking a camping site at the cove so you can drive down!! Without reserving a camping site you have to hike and with all the picnic essentials, so it would have been nice to have their car. K + J’s family was so supportive of them and the way they envisioned their wedding day, everyone focused on their love and the beauty of them starting their life together in the city they first fell in love. I felt so honored to be a part of it!
