Glen Oaks Big Sur Elopement

When I first talked to Calyn and Danny the one request Danny had was having pie instead of cake and some beer. I could totally relate as a boysenberry pie and beer lover myself. As the planning got underway they decided to forgo a picnic but to me, they were the “ pie couple” I had to bring some and surprise them. So on their wedding day I picked up some mini pies from a local bakery and packed them in my backpack, they weren’t pretty but it was one of my favorite memories of their day. Calyn and Danny made the most epic playlist, full of 90’s rap and Hip Hop, they brought beer ( even one for me) and they read a letter their daughter wrote them during their beautiful ceremony under the redwoods. One of the main reasons I do a minimum of three-hour elopements is that we have the actual time to sit and enjoy a spot. to take our time, and to enjoy every moment. Wedding days always go quickly but I hope my images will remind them time and again of their absolutely incredible wedding day in Big Sur.
