Big Sur Engagement Photography with Christina and Malcolm

Christina and Malcolm debated between Big Sur and Yosemite for their California engagement session. Ultimately they decided Big Sur was the perfect adventure spot to capture their love before their wedding day in Banff! I absolutely loved showing them and their love dog Ollie all around the Big Sur Coast. Malcolm really wanted the forest and Christina really wanted the rocky coast so we added a little time to their adventure session to capture it all with a stop for Ollie.

We started in the redwoods and made our way down to the beach and cliffs right as the most romantic fog rolled in. Low fog is one of my favorite parts of Big Sur, it adds such a dreaminess to the area. As avid rock climbers, skiers, and hikers they were so comfortable on our rocky shore and it was SO much fun to watch them dance together and appreciate the coastline. I felt so lucky to have met these two and am a little jealous of their wedding photographer; Congrats you guys!!!
