Oregon Wedding Photographer // Crook Point Wedding
Emily And Micheal had their beautiful Crook Point wedding in Oregon this week surrounded by their 10 closest family and friends. They got ready at the beautiful Crook Point property with the first look overlooking the sea, and their wedding atop a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. They celebrated their vows with a champagne pop and then adventured the rest of the day to local cliffside locations and the beautiful beaches along the Samuel H. Boardman Corridor in Oregon. Leading up to their wedding day there were three days of constant rain and thunderstorms, and we were all preparing for the rainiest wedding day ever. I had my umbrellas packed! But the morning of their wedding day the forecast changed, and while there were a few sprinkles of rain it was absolutely perfect PNW weather. We were even able to catch a rainbow as a light mist came down. Their day wrapped up with a beautiful dinner back at the Crook point property catered by the amazing Rebecca Clarke. The local Kumamoto oyster appetizers were amazing with Champagne! Emily’s florist FreckledFleurs was incredible, from the bouquet to the table decor she knocked it out of the park with mood. I had such an amazing time meeting Jayne the makeup artist when I first arrived and felt so lucky all day to be a part of Emily and Micheals's beautiful day at Crook Point in Oregon.

N + K were married two days ago at the santa Barbara court house but always wanted to have photos in Big Sur. I was so honored when N told me she has been following my work since before she was even engaged and knew she wanted me to be her photographer. They scheduled a three hour elopement so they would have the best light in the forest and at sunset. A day before their session we saw that heavy rain and winds were in the forecast so after a bit of re-arranging we were able to move it up by a day and skip all the rain. I actually normally love a misty, low fog day but three hours with heavy wind and rain can be difficult so I was glad to be able to accommodate the move. Feeling so honored to be able to capture a bit of N + K’s love story in Big Sur.
