Five Reasons Why You Should Invest In A Wedding Album

  1. Sitting down to relive your wedding day hits differently when you can open a book vs staring at a screen. They make pretty great coffee table art. Anyone visiting can sit down and pick up your album and immediately see the story of your day, from start to finish. While we tend to print the “hero” images, being able to see a story from the beginning to the end can really transport you back in a way that single prints and online albums cannot.

  2. Technology changes; it wasn’t long ago we were delivering galleries by DVD; now it’s hard to find a DVD player. A book remains a classic way to hold on to your memories and preserve your story. Hard drives fail, and computers have a life span of 5 years if we’re lucky, albums and prints stand the test of time.

  3. Photo books last generations! It’s an heirloom to pass down; the quality is SO much better through a professional lab than at places like Walgreens or Shutterfly. My kids love looking at our wedding album, and I think it’s something they will always cherish as we age. It’s a classic piece of our history and our story. Hopefully, our grandkids will one day look back and see us as young kids in love.

  4. Parent albums make the best gifts. You can purchase a parent album to thank your parents for their contribution to your wedding day. It’s really easy to order smaller duplicate albums of any personal larger album, which makes it such a time saver. A small 8x8 will be treasured by parents and makes such a good Christmas gift or even just as a thank you. I gift my own family albums yearly of us and our adventures. They have a solid place on the top of their coffee table every year.

  5. We get to collaborate on a unique design and include all your favorite memories. From champagne pop to your mom zipping you up, I’ll be there every step of the way to ensure your album is exactly what you envision but also helps tell your story!

The Album Process

Once I’ve delivered your online gallery and you’ve had time to look through it, I ask that you heart some of your favorite and emotion filled images from the day. It can be hard to narrow down selections but I suggest letting your first instincts be the guiding force in determining which shots make the cut. I can then create 5 spreads and send you a link through your gallery. We can make changes or swaps to any images you would like, we can upgrade to include more spreads and you can add on parent albums and deckled edge prints. Once I get the ok from you it takes about 4 weeks to receive your album! Keep in mind the print times are delayed during the holidays so if you want to gift parent albums before Christmas order by November!
