Best Engagement Photographer Junebug Weddings 2022 + 2023

As a new photographer, I used to scroll through all the blog posts in Junebug Magazine for inspiration. I couldn’t believe some of the photographer’s work, the weddings they got to photograph, or the couples they got to meet. To be among the top 50 wedding images of the year means so much to me, and always comes as such a shock. This year’s winning image was Frank and Alexi’s in San Francisco. It’s so exciting when couples trust me in a landscape that I don’t normally shoot in all the time. City life isn’t exactly what my portfolio is known for but Alexis and Frank really put their trust in me and my crazy ideas! from sending them Google Map images of fire escapes, and choosing a hotel and room to stay in based purely on my hunch that we could sneak out onto a fire escape paid off! Pretty much the whole time on the fire escape I was jumping for joy and excitement. The light 30 minutes before was SO harsh, but right as we snuck out onto the fire escape the sun tucked behind the buildings and made this view so much better. Photos like this wouldn’t be possible with clients that didn’t trust me. Thank you so much, Frank and Alexis, I cannot wait for your wedding day!!
