Glen Oaks Elopement Photography
Victoria and James eloped on the Big Sur coast right after a big storm, throughout their day we had storm clouds, sun, and a sprinkle of rain which made the moody coastal elopement that much more beautiful.
Victoria and James met on Hinge.com. they had their first date at a local bar for drinks. James proposed a year later in Mexico under a full moon. Shortly after their engagement trip together to Mexico James was diagnosed with cancer. They were terrified about the cancer treatment and how their new relationship would be tested, but it ultimately made them stronger than ever and solidified that through their love for each other they were meant to be together forever.
Their elopement day was so palpable, from the first look to their beautiful vows under the redwood trees in the forest, a picnic on the beach where they read notes from their loved ones then on to popping champagne and having their first dance on the beach, it was the perfect Big Sur elopement day.
Victoria and James decided to elope because they felt they were ready for an adventure and a new experience together they wanted to be able to express themselves to each other intimately and have a day that is 100% about them and their love and I think we did just that!
M & K eloped in last week. They started their wedding day at The La Playa Hotel in Carmel for their get-ready photos then they traveled to the ceremony in a vintage Thunderbird to Fanshell Beach along 17-Mile drive. We then adventured to Big Sur for cliffside sunset photos and their first dance on the beach and a toast to the newly married couple.
